Privacy, in plain English.
Dating requires trust. We collect the minimum needed to make the product work, and we explain it without hiding behind legalese.
What we collect
The profile you choose to create: first name, date of birth, gender, city, occupation, bio, interests, photos, and dating preferences. We store your date of birth rather than your age, so the number on your card is right on your birthday and stays right afterwards. We also store the email address from GitHub sign-in, used only to sign you in and for essential account or safety notices (like a photo that needs replacing), never general notifications. We also keep one yes/no per day recording that your account was active, so we can tell whether the product is healthy; there is no record of what you did. The public pages (home, about, privacy, terms) use Google Analytics to count visits; the signed-in app does not, so which profiles and conversations you open is never shared with an analytics service.
What we never collect
Your code, prompts, repositories, file names, or anything about what you are working on. Your GitHub identity, activity, and repositories are never shown to anyone or used for matching.
What the plugin does send
When you link a terminal: a device token and that terminal's name (its hostname), so you can tell your terminals apart in settings. While it runs: it polls for introductions, which tells us a terminal is active and when it last checked in. It also reports that a card actually reached your screen, so an introduction you never saw is not spent, and it sends your likes and passes, because that is how matching works. What you and Claude are working on is never read at all. The plugin only knows that a turn started or stopped, and uses that locally to time introductions and polling; the rhythm of those check-ins is all the server ever observes.
Who sees your profile
Only the people you are introduced to. Your profile has no public URL: what another member opens is an introduction link that works only for them, and it stops working if you pause, are banned, lose your approved photo, or if either of you blocks the other. Shared with anyone else, it is a 404. There is no directory, no browsing, no search. That rule is enforced in the database itself (row-level security), beneath the app: there is no public URL to guess and nothing for a scraper to walk.
Reports and safety
If someone reports you, the report is reviewed and kept with the account it concerns. Reviewing a report can include reading the reported conversation; every such access is logged. Messages are not end to end encrypted (matching and moderation need the server to work), so treat chats like messages on any dating app. Blocking is permanent and mutual: two people who have blocked each other are invisible to one another for good.
Location
You choose your city from a list. We store that city and its approximate center point, and never collect your precise location. Location data comes from the GeoNames geographical database (CC BY 4.0).
Deletion
Deleting your account in settings permanently removes your profile, photos, matches, and messages.
